In the depth of my shadow, I start losing my own reality

God’s children are fearing while all the gangsters living cowardly

They say “real talk” but are caught up in a fallacy

Most preachers say they’re righteous but ain't nothing but some power thieves

They’re overcrowding me, getting loud with me, telling me how to live

Just know that if you live right, you’ll get blessed every time you give

I’m positive, I crossed the bridge and saw the light

Freedom of speech and religion but they still condemn my rights

I guess they abolished it, got fed up with their tolerance

I spit the realest rap to this day, most won’t acknowledge it

I went to college in these crazy days, to get away from pain

But got caught up in the thunder, the lightning, and acid rain

In my brain I see no color, white or black you're still my brother

If a woman respects herself, I'll treat her the way I do my mother

Adult's insult one another, teenagers get Aids without a rubber

While little kids are scared of monsters so they’re hiding under covers

When the youth unlearn the lies, truth will shine down from the sky

Accept the sunlight, not the shadows, to become a star after you die
