I can wash and wash, scrub harder still. Doesnt make a difference, the void cannot be filled. Up to my ears in dirt, I can hear the worms sing. Nothing compares to the way the small stones sting. Truth, raining down on my head. Sadly, I know I'd rather be six feet under, than here In my bed. It's wrong, I know, but how wrong could it be? You told me to tell you, honestly. So here, I say, but nobody wants to hear. They never want to know, they silence me, out of fear. Stay strong, they say, why do i have to hold on, to another day? Tired as I am, I admit, I'm curious for what tomorrow will have. I will walk this world forever, split in half. Where did I go wrong? We once sang a very different song. Now it's all broken melodies. A bluejays broken cries, while clouds water the skies. Never again will we thirst, we may even drown. No screams will be heard, we refuse to make any sound.
