Some nights I stay up, and wait for the sun. Looking you in the eye, it's only mockery. Maybe I just want to think that, cause deep down I know. I know that you know.

You understand, and I just can't stand, to come to terms. You've coaxed me into your twisted arms, far too many times.

For all the lives you've taken, I'm still in awe. I respect your power, your beauty and grace. Nothing can compare, to the entity with no face.
I remember, so clear, the ones you've taken. Without remorse, I hear your laughter in the rustle of the trees. You hang on so tight. Will you ever let me go?

I scream out, so loud, but I won't cry for help. Nothing more to do, no other way. You've outsmarted me again, wrapped so tightly around my throat.  All I have to do is leap, then maybe, I'll fly. A steady stool, beneath my feet, I hate you, maybe myself even more so. You've set me up, I took the bait. A foolish girl, who just couldn't wait. Here comes the cheesy cliche, "it's all my fault anyway."

What will I see? When you take me away? What will they think? When they find me this way? Stop the thinking, plug the pain. My life has already been taken away. I'm already gone, fuck, man, can't you see? I'm already gone! So just let me be. Never one to ask for help, nope, I gotta do it on my own. Now that I've failed, you can see how totally I am, alone.
