In a dark room, shaded from the sun, a man vested in shadows is watching a news report of Gauche's death on his cell phone as he sits in a recliner beside a burning fireplace.

"Another death? Dammit, this campaign is going to get me killed. Alice, suspend my 14-day "Deep South Don't Bomb Anymore Middle Eastern Countries" extravaganza and all upcoming public appearances. I'll need to keep up my support with online podcasts. By the way, could you also find out the source of the power outage?" calls out the shaded man.

"Well sir, it appears your stance against energy companies convinced our provider to turn off power and tear up our contract. Right to refuse service and all that." states his assistant Alice.

"I've told the people before, I won't let any company dictate how this campaign is going to be run. Unions are where the real struggle is, and where it's always been, they earned their voice. A corporation only emphasizes profit, not real political issues."

"Okay, yes sir. I'll find a new provider." says Alice before exiting the dark room, candle in hand.
