I know I have somewhere to be. So many people have told me. In ways more than one, I wonder if all is already lost. Staring into the blazing sun, it's my eyesight, that's been cost.

No matter, I really don't care. An eye for an eye, it can only be fair. But In a world that isn't, precisely what would it be? Ye gods, I fear I may be rambling.

Senseless words, mean so much to the damned. That's why I talk so much, as often as I can. When you've nothing left to give, what's there to do, but take?

A life for a life, you said. But nobody was there. Nobody could care. But then, neither could you, I suppose, you didn't mind. I guess that's why you cut it in half,

your only lifeline.

Now we are left, to clean up the mess. Broken memories are amiss. Pure oblivion, would be true bliss. I admit, no matter how wrong it may sound, that I am jealous of you, six feet underground. Hypocritical as it may be, I hate you for what it's done to me.

You let them win, you gave up the fight. Now I find myself giving up sleep, for another endless night. These words, I can drop, stones in a river bend.

Nevertheless, you'll never hear, no matter how many messages in bottles I might send. Your gone, that may be true, but I refuse to give you up.

Cody, I refuse.
