Little Gabby held her basket
With apples and smiles glad.
She gave them out with kindest habit;
To every passer, good or bad.
Now her apples melted rotten
With a longer smile than before.
Her older face is pale and sodden
From vengeful tears of black ichor.

Mister Ralph, blessed and proud,
Tipped his hat to all who passed.
He gave to many his endowed;
"For the good of man!" he'd say when asked.
That same good man is old and gray;
Grim and gaunt without a home.
His grin contorts his face like clay
For at least he gets to die alone.

Mikayla lived a life of bliss
As a lovely wife and happy mother.
She took good care of groom and kids;
For another life, she'd trade no other.
Today her knees sink in the mud
With head in bow to three new graves.
Her smirk is partially caked in blood,
Pleased how well a corpse behaves.

"That's so wrong!" you may exclaim,
But our joys are gifts from the sky!
All have been smiles since it came
With flowing arms and fishy eye.
It can't be seen?  Well rest assured,
You'll see it after sticking around.
You have no choice, but have my word:
You'll love our happy town!
