Sister Sage

Sister Sage,  starts off small,

Isn’t that funny? Don’t we all?

Just to be placed,

barely under the soil,

allowed time to rest,

No need to struggle and toil,

Time to be bathed in sunlight,

Time to be hydrated and refreshed,

As the Sun smiles,

The Moon adds the rest,

All the while,

Sister Sage continues to grow.

She stretches out her limbs,

Her scent flying high on the air,

sometimes flying low,

When the air around her is full and thick

Friends and neighbors from all Kingdoms,

Come to be freed from being sick,

Knowing her protection will help their endeavor,

They keep her nurtured and protected,

From the beginning to forever

Having a polluted day?

Have Sister Sage around, take care of her,

She will keep the evil spirits away.
