I'm somewhere cold. Cold and dark. The air is silent, and I feel claustrophobic sitting here. I have no idea where I am, or how I got here. Maybe Mum's mirror actually did crack though I couldn't see any cracks on it. Mum will be so mad if I don't make it home for dinner, so I must get out of here. And fast, because there could be monsters hiding anywhere around here.

I try to get up, but hit my head instead. I crouch on the floor, and feel around for anything that would get me out. A door? A lock? Maybe the other side of the mirror. Soon, I feel something cold and hard against my hand. A handle! Where there's a handle, there's a door. And where there's a door, there's a way out. I felt proud, so I opened the door. A gust of chilly wind came in, tangling my hair in a knot. I try to force the door shut, and eventually I'm back in the quiet place I was in before. With the door being opened and the light streaming in, I managed to catch a glimpse of my surroundings. I was in a retro green wardrobe, with a solid gold handle and a low roof. The outside, however, was white. There were no clouds or trees or humans or the sun. Just a pure, bright white. I decided I had to get out of this wardrobe, and see where the whiteness would take me. I placed a shaky hand on the handle, and was about to open it as I felt something touch my leg. I whipped around, horrified, only to realise there was nothing there. I shook the feeling away steadied myself then opened the door. The wind was still as chilly, and I was still frightened, but I took a deep breath, and jumped. Jumped forward, jumped downward, jumped nowhere.
