I like to write about my purest emotions. Any wise person would tell us that revenge isn't good - and they're probably right. I don't think I ever acted on these feelings, but it's just so healthy to talk about them and express them through a creative outlet. This poem is about being hurt, and wanting to hurt that person so bad. It's about wanting to destroy their world, just like they destroyed ours.

That Ain’t Me

They say I should stay a class act,
Even in the ides of heartbreak.
But, that ain’t me, in fact,
I’m about to make your whole world shake.

Don’t give a fuck about my reputation;
I don’t need to wish you well.
I’m about to unleash my frustration;
Gonna make you burn in Hell.

Gave you everything I had;
Showed you my bruises and my scars.
But you got me good and I got it bad;
Why you had to promise me the moon and the stars?

Because you made me feel so much smaller,
You will regret screwing a guy like me.
Revenge it’s my favorite color,
And I sting harder than a bee.

I really hope it was worth it,
Double-crossing me like that.
Na’, I hope it feels like shit,
And that you miss where you’re at.

They say I should stay a class act,
Even when I feel so mad.
But, that ain’t me, in fact,
I’m about to become the Big Bad.
