You’re Not in Love

Standing from the distance,
Watching it all fall down.
I offered resistance,
And you still let me drown.

The city’s on fire,
And the water’s run dry.
No sound from the choir;
Everything’s left to die.

I just got one suitcase
And no place where to go.
You left without a trace,
And I will never know.

The city we both built,
It’s now falling apart.
Won’t you feel the guilt?
Will it touch your heart?

Nothing really matters;
I’ll have to let it be.
Though my heart, it shatters,
You’re not in love with me.
