'Summer night'---

Do you see what I see?

'Summer night'---

what have we come to be?

'Summer night', it seems to be like we are losing,

it's like everyday my heart you're bruising.

Is it me?

Is it you?

We're never free of what we're going through.

All these questions in my head,

too many words have now been said.

Is it my fault or is it yours?

how will our relationship endure?

Am I wrong?

Or are you right?

Am I strong to keep this fight?

Can this cycle we interrupt?

or are we already too corrupt?

Everything I've done and everything I am,

giving you a son and you still don't understand.

That my heart is still resentful,

and your mouth is now so hurtful.

Maybe it's you and how much you try to haggle,

or maybe it's just me not picking well my battles.

Maybe I'm too sensitive just like you love to say,

or perhaps that's just you having it your way.

I don't know who's to blame for what is happening to us,

all I know I'm full of pain because of everything this does.

But I'm still here and so are you,

my 'Summer night'---

what will we do?
