Skin as white as snow. Hair as black as night. Lips as red as blood.

I ran as fast as I could. Away from the lonely cottage. Away from the six dwarves that chased me. And yes I said six. An accident occured while I lived in the cottage and I was framed for it. Dopey had stood upon a stool, dusting the shelves when I accidentally bumped into the leg of the stool and before I could catch him, he had fallen backwards and cracked his skull on the hard wood floor. When the other dwarves returned after running a few errands and saw Dopey sprawled out on the floor in a puddle of blood they immediately blamed me saying that I did it on purpose. They had made me sit on a stool but once they turned their backs towards me I immedately dashed out of the cottage as fast as I could. Right after I had ran out the door, they had run out too with pitch forks and torchs.

I had ran for about an hour before I had found a small cave. I had tiredly sat down, leaning against the wall. I sat in the darkness of the cave. The six dwarves ran past the opening of the cave and I finally took a deep breath when they sounded far away. It hadn't been long until my eyes grew heavy. After a few minutes of trying to keep my eyes open I finally fell asleep.

The next morning I was woken by the sun leaking into the cave. I blinked a couple of times to get rid of the glassy coat that covered my eyes. I slowly got up and stretched my stiff muscles. When I walked out of the cave Doc was standig there with his arms crossed. I froze in my tracks and held up my hands. "I-I-I didn't kill him purposely." I said petrified. He nodded. "I know you didn't kill him purposely." He said. I tilted my head confused. He walked up to me and handed me a basket. "What's this?" I asked. "It's food. You're gonna need it since you will be running." I looked at the basket and he placed his hand on top of mine. "The others are facing denial. I know you know they think you killed him purposely and that's why I'm here. You need to run far away where they can't find you. If they do end up finding you, you need to hide." He said tightening his grip on my hand. I smiled slightly and hugged him. "Thank you!" I whispered to him.

After I watched him off I continued through the forest. I walked long and far. High and low. Until I reached a river where deer drank the lushious water. I walked over quietly trying not to scare them off. When I reached edge I was surprised because none of the deer ran. They all continued to drink. I took a handful of water and brought it to my mouth. The water was cold and lingered on my tongue. I jumped when I saw a deer standing next to me from the corner of my eye. I looked over. The deer was large and had the longest antlers out of all of them. I slowly stood up and the deer nodded to the water next to me as if it wanted me to continue drinking. I took a few more mouthfuls of water and then reached into my basket. I pulled out an apple and slowly held it out to the deer. The deer slowly came forward and sniffed it. It gracefully took it out of my hand. I reached out my hand to let it smell me. When it accepted my smell I gently rubbed the back of my hand against it's soft fur. When I pulled my hand away it turned and left me alone. I sat on the bank for a few more moments before I kept on walking.

It was getting dark out and I had to find shelter. Coincidentally I found another cave only it was larger than the other one. I walked in and layed down on the hard pavement. It didn't take long before I was out like a light.

When morning arrived it was the same routine. I stood up and stretched only this time I heard something move in the shadows. I stood quietly to see if I was hearing this but surely enough I wasn't. The sound came again only it was longer. I heard a grunt and I started to back out of the cave. After I made it out I kept walking backwards slowly. Only then did I accidentally break the silence when I stepped on a twig. The bear emerged from the shadows and I ran as fast as i could. The bear grunted behind me and i was slower than it. I continued to run but ended up hitting a branch and tripping. The bear hovered over me and let out a deep growl. It leaned it's head in closer and sniffed me. I turned my face away. It raised it's paw but never got to swipe at me because an arrow pierced its side. It fell too the side but still pinned me down with its paw. I tried pushing it off but i was too weak. I looked up when a shadow blocked the sun. A man stood there. He had messy brown hair and wore black pants and a baggy white tunic. He carried bow and arrows on his back which automatically led to me believing he was the owner of the arrow that killed the bear. He lifted the paw off of me and I carefully slipped out. "Thank you!" I said taking his hand he held out for me to take. He grinned. I looked at him weakly. "Uh...Oh! I forgot. My names Snow White!" I said holding out my hand. "My real names Ferdinand but you may call me florian." He said taking my hand. "Are you alone?" He asked looking around. "Uh... Yeah." I said softly. "Why is that if you don't mind me asking." I looked at him and shook my head. "It's okay." He said smiling softly. I slowly reached into my basket and pulled out a muffin. "Thank you for saving me from the bear." I said holding the muffin out to him. He gently took the muffin and smiled. "Thank you!" I blushed a little set his kindness. "Do you have anywhere to go?" I shook my head and looked at him. "Would you like to stay with me?" I looked set him surprised send he smiled.
