The fire keeps burning,

While the towers are falling,

The streets are filled with.. panic,

The times are slowly turning,

What have we become?

The trees are dying,

Bodies are lying, piling right up,

One by one,

The freedom we share,

The flag slowly flowing,

Do they still care?

Where is the people. the friends we once knew?

Riots start, shot fired.

Red is flowing where once it was blue.

Angels are crying, when heroes are dying,

No one remembered, pure souls dismembered,

The times when we walked in December,

It was cold that day, and now it's dead and cold,

In many ways, we no longer remember,

Ice can not come close,

When evil takes it's host,

Pray that this changes,

Pray we turn back,

We all really matter,

Not just one,

Pray it's not too late, when this is all done,

I hope one day, maybe someday we'll turn back to one.

When we still care,

When we exist,

When love no longer is rare.
