My mind was poisoned, my heart poisoned.

A part of me knew I shouldn't have taken a drink from that cup.

I was so intrigued he told me it was a drink called love.

Just one sip and you'll never be the same.

Looking him dead in his eyes I thought he was playing.

with just one sip, he was right I was never the same again.

this potion called love had altered my brain,

rewired my heart, from the first drop on my tongue I could tell it was no joke.

And just like that i was forever hooked

(verse 2)-Sohail Arif

Possesed, under the influence of the cup

Controlling your heart and mind, brainwashing it with love

Making you want more, as the first sip wasnt enough

You continue to drink, not knowing the consequences of the stuff

The taste so exquisite, you're no longer the same

I can see you falling for me, it's all part of the game

To lure your mind, make you think i'm what honest is

The words that I say come across like they're promises
