with you at my side,

none would dare to divide

(this anger devoted to ally)

times were tough and couldn't abide

(every year do I appear)

some things you cannot hide

not even the mind can revise,

or delete these happy memories

forgetting dark glories and lies

(overall, everything was fine)

madre mía you remain here

no matter how many times I fear

the intent returns, to connect years

(why does hope steer, am I not free?)

when we have all, still miss a fall

like a wrecking ball, I crash through

eyelashes hide longing divide of you;

over years as a man grew, boy years boot

would you embrace the traitor's face?

(recalcitrant, honest with this grace)

silently you watch, expecting as much

(there will never be another)

approaching with a ready revoke retch

(weighing whether he's worth a bother)

you'll know when to gather, contacting sister

here will I wait

hoping that fate

is kind, and awake

for opportunity passes by

and still invincible, I lie
