Pinpoint

I’ve been trying to pinpoint the exact moment,
The exact moment we fell apart.
When my happy was gone and stolen;
The moment of the breaking of my heart.

I still don’t know what I did,
To make you leave this way.
In this case there is no lead;
For us there’s no longer light of day.

But really the worst part,
Is that I can’t let you go.
How will I ever be able to start,
If the real truth I’ll never know?

Now all I see are shadows in the dark,
And I see you when I close my eyes.
Every time I try to ignite a spark,
My soul inside it cries and slowly dies.

I’ve been trying to pinpoint the moment,
The moment I lost you.
When all of the light was stolen,
With it everything I thought was true.
