A A A | A A A

I once had a good friend. Who I didn't know at all.

That's nothing new, only when your phone breaks, do people begin to call.

It makes no sense, that I understand it so well.
Like hearing a bold faced lie, and you know they have secrets to tell.

The opposites are alike, part of the same rusted chain.
Only when you lose, do you know there is something to be gained.

Throughout all of this, despite recent past, I hope most of us have come to terms, that nothing really lasts.
That's all we can really hope for, the knowledge to fight.

A reason for getting through another long night.

When it all comes together, which it may as well never will,

I hope we have the power, to let the truth become real.
