6 months later...

The waves rolled up to the shore. Foam stayed behind as they retreated once again. Stars sprinkled across the night sky.

Ben held on to Clio's wrinkled hand as she sat beside him.

His brothers and their wives were there as well, sitting along the edge of the beach.

Their sons, daughters, grandkids and even great grandchildren had left that morning. Their last grandchild had gotten married a few weeks back on the island.

Grace smiled as she remembered how happy Noah had been to see his bride walk down the aisle to him. It reminded her of getting married to Nate.

Of course they had a different love story but their love for each other was the same. Unwilted.

Nate patted her hand as he saw a tear roll down her cheek.

Age had caught up to them. They had all decided that they would live the rest of their days, months, maybe even years out on their island. The home that had been given to them with love from their parents.

Diane and Arthur were deeply missed by Lucifer, Nate and Ben. Along with their wives who had seen them as a second set of parents. To Athena and Clio they had been the only ones worth having.

The island was a place where they could share and fall in love all over again. For them it was a continuation of why they cared so much for their women.

It had been a safe haven once upon a time for Ben and Clio after what her father had done to her. It was a place of peace.

For Lucifer and Athena it was a honeymoon they would never forget.

On this very island Nate and Grace got to know each other and fell head over heels.

Yes, for each it had its own special memory.

They may not be young but they were strong. Strength they had because of each other. They would always have each other even in death.

Love like this didn't die, it went on.

Lucifer sighed and smiled.

"What is it?" Athena curled her fingers around his.

"We have lived our lives to the fullest."

Grace agreed. "I couldn't have chosen a better one to have had."

"I couldn't have chosen a better wife." Nate squeezed her hand gently.

"To think how all this started." Clio chuckled lightly.

Ben turned to her with a knowing grin remembering that fateful day. "All it took was a kidnapping."

The End.
