Game You Played

Didn't think I'd sink this low;
losing myself in a stranger's bed.
It's become so hard to let you go;
can't seem to get you out of my head.

I drink the bottle and look for your face,
but you're never then when I wake up.
Surrounded by this filled empty space,
and this downfall I can't seem to stop.

You keep your feelings on a shelf,
and walked away without regret,
leaving me to fend for myself,
remembering it's you I can't forget.

Now I'm walking this walk of shame,
for love was just a game you played.
And I can't seem to dust off this blame,
because I wanted you to stay.

In my heart there's an ugly scar,
cause you left when I needed you the most.
Now I'm trapped in this internal civil war,
unable to let go of everything I lost.
