Same Mistake

Standing where I've stood before;
again I was shown the door.
Can't believe I was so blind,
giving it all for a boy that changed his mid.

But this time there's no one I could blame;
it's me who chooses to play this game.
You may have broken my heart in two,
but it was me who fell for you.

And I keep saying it's the last time,
but I'm always near the scene of the crime.
Every heartbreak brings a new mistake,
always ending bitten by the blue-eyed snake.

Why do I keep goign down this road?
I see the answer but I can't crack the code.
Failig to obtain what I seek,
because I keep aiming for the mountain peak.
