Passionate Love, no longer a friend -

Words of old – “oh loving hate”- much truer than known.

Precious treasure twisted into sour poison, unknowingly swallowed.

Turn back the hand of time so I can return this hateful bliss.

Oh Time, what fickle fiend.

Fickle as the Seasons that always change

And never remain.

Not even for one who sinks into that endless Darkness;

The Darkness, it’s a toxic bog.

Oh, a hateful smog in the air

That swallows whatever the Light traces.

Never to return that which it so hatefully stole.

Yet, I shall never forget, nor regret

The inevitability of Life with which I was met.
