True colors aren't uncovered right away... It's like digging for buried treasure; you never know what you're goiong to get. In relationships true colors are important, because they prove the honest true personality of that person. When undiscovering treasure you must first locate, the 'X'. Then, you must open the box to find out if it's treasure or not. I think true colors are shown normally late in the realtionship. It's very simple to put on a mask or hide whatever really. When you first meet someone you can easily fake anything name, laugh, favorite things, but it's hard to get away with it. True colors I have found are sometimes very dark. For example my best friend at first looked very rude, but turned out to be my twin. It truly has proved that true colors always find a way out. All in all true colors determine if you want that friendship or not... True colors help design that friendship, and really create the foundation of the realtionship between the two people.
