To the woman who raised me who I am
The woman who cared for me at all times
She held me close when I scraped my knee
And said sweet words when I needed them most
She game me advice when I had hard troubles
She tried her hardest to give me nice things
And tried even harder to get things I needed
She went out of her way to get me all things
She would walk a thousand miles for me
And she would spend her last dime on a good school
And she'd hurt anyone who hurt me first
She'll always be there and love me so much
She's my mother, friend, and inspiration
She's my helper and my consolation.

Excellent! What better way to appreciate and respect one's mother than a sonnet?

Sat, June 17th, 2017 6:16amVery wel written sonnet. I know it can be hard to add advanced vocabulary to a sonnet due to all the limitations, but it's always worth the effort.
