Let me fall but in your gentle arms,

Because inside them I don’t feel a harm.

Let me fall, in your honey-sweetened lips,

Wrap your hands around my fragile hips.

Let me fall out of my own tears,

Let me rise from everything unclear.

I need your smile and the warmth of your skin,

And not just for a while like sadly it’s always been.

Society will judge us but in the end—why should we care?

We both know how it feels to see our image everywhere.

If I leave I will suffer and my heart will turn cold,

It’s always what happens when I do as I’m told.

It may be that I’m crazy and perhaps I’ll regret,

Let me fall; I don’t care, you’re too hard to forget.

I damn you and I curse you but I love you, as well,

Just take me with you—let’s flee from this hell.

My darling, my heart, my downfall, indeed,

My sweetest possession—you’re all that I need.

My angel, my muse, you’re the breath that I grasp,

If I’m not with you my heart will collapse.

Decisions and choices I am expected to take,

I choose to be with you and fall at your sake.
