If there was a genie,

And I happened to make its presence,

I’d only have one wish,

Send me back to adolescence,

Please don’t read ahead,

And think I’m longing for my youth,

Complexity is ecstasy,

It's farthest from the truth,

You see there was a girl,

The premise of every tortured tale,

But what she had was pure, sweet,

Something you couldn’t sale,

She loved beyond a definition,

And wore it in her eye,

Passion wrapped in broken pieces,

Soaring in her cry,

Me I was a foolish child,

Ignorant of love,

The gift she gave I dropped and broke,

Her crystal heart of love,

The love I gave was light and weak,

Of course she wanted more,

I should of never came her way,

Till I was more mature,

Time went by as years went on,

A wave pool of the same,

I loved her yet it couldn’t show,

Instead became a game,

But not the game you play for fun,

The one you slip into,

No victor in this selfish game,

Just a loosing team of two,

But now the rabbits got the gun,

Its aiming at my soul,

The love she has is strong as ever,

But now its freezing cold,

I know this is my just desserts,

For It is how I’ll pay the piper,

Though its hard to face the consequence,

Of my sins, forged in fire,

Affection comes synthetically,

Showing that she’s scarred,

I know she loves me, know she cares,

I also know its hard,

Me obsessed with proving love,

Knowing she’ll still doubt me,

Yet one wish, would make her happy,

Even if it is…. without me,
