People that I can’t stand, yet I reach out when they ask form my hand

Just because I’m nice, even if ignoration will be my price

People that are using me, yet I ignore it and refuse to see

I know the hurt that comes at the end, but I can still pretend

People that talk behind my back, every time it feels like a slap

I act like I don’t know, put on a poker face and don’t let it show

People that do as they like and not caring about the others sight

Who am I to say they can’t? I surely would be able to, but I ain’t

People that don’t care what I do, yet here I am, caring about you

Every time I let them pass, until the day comes when they can kiss my ass
