This poem is about a guy who broke my heart. He was studying Architecture when we met.

To you I was a blank sheet;
Just an empty street.
That’s when you drew the first line,
And I called you mine.

By the time you started to design,
The stars started to align.
You drew me a brand new smile,
And made it feel worthwhile.

You erased the frown,
And my world you slowed down.
Then you added light to my eyes,
And melted all the ice.

The dream was becoming a reality;
You drew it in high quality.
That’s why it was so hard to understand,
When you destroyed it with your hand.

I guess this is how it ends;
Lovers that turn into friends.
I should’ve never let you draw on me;
Didn’t know that you would leave.
