You have seen that calculating a chart by hand can be very difficult if you don't know what you're doing. It is easy to make mistakes. It is important not to make any mistake, and always double check your work. Once you get to know how astrology works, it is best to make a collection of charts of people who are close to you such as family, friends, and loved ones. In this way, you'll be able to see and understand more clearly what it's all about.

Now with the chart before you whether drawn by hand or done with the computer, you can examine it with your eyes. When you get to know what you're looking at, you can quickly jot down some information.

The ascendant is LEO, don't you know what the lion is like?

The ruler of the ascendant is the sun. We find the sun in the 11th house in the sign of Gemini. The sun sign is Gemini. The person has the energies to communicate and is versatile. Interested in friends and clubs and groups.

The sun is in conjuction with the 11th house, makes it more solid that friendship is important.

The sun is in conjunction with Venus, very close. This shows that the life and love energies are working together in the 11th house.

The sun is conjunct Mars in the 11th house. This conjunction gives lots of energies.

The sun is sextile to the ascendant. Here we get more energies and the chance of prolonging life.

The sun is semi-sextile Jupiter in the 10th house. This is an easy positive aspect and is helpful to the individual.

The sun is trine Uranus in the 6th house. This aspect has to do with science and work and many colleagues .

Now we see that the ascendant ruler, the sun has many good contacts, and in the areas concerned, it should go well for the individual.

The moon is in the 5th house in the sign of Capricorn. Here the individual is ambitious, wants to be in love, likes to speculate, loves children and sports.Although the moon is in the 5th house, it is taking on energies from the 6th house, and one must not neglect the health.

The moon is opposing Mars in the 11th house giving some negative energies. Here, you see that Mars is in the sign ruled by the moon, Cancer. How would you like to be in your griends home when both of you are not talking to each other. A rather difficult situation.

The moon is making a trine aspect to the ascendant. Very sensitive with strong fellings, could be close to the mother.

We find two powerful planets up in the 10th house--Jupiter and Saturn. The tenth house is angular, and planets are very strong here.

Jupiter will be like a queen or a king in that position.

Saturn is the ruler of the 10th house, he sits powerful here, a real leader. But he must make sure he deals fair, and not to be untrue, because the fall is great, and he will never get back there again.

The two planets Jupiter and Saturn are good for religious and philosophical and educational purposes.

They will surely bring the individual in some high position in life.

Venus in the 11th house is good for help from friends.

Venus is semi-sextile to both Jupiter and Saturn in the 10th house. This is positive, and will work out in the career, the workplace and partnerships.

Venus is sextile the ascendant, this is just a beautiful aspect, gives grace and beauty to the personality with the ability for art or music.

Venus is just about trine with Uranus, and is good fo friendships and work colleagues.

When planets in angular positions are square to an angle, this is a negative force, but because of being angular, they are powerful. So we see that both Jupiter and Saturn are square to the ascendant.

Mars in the 11th house will give energies towards friendships and clubs and interest in unusual scientific subjects.

Venus and Mars are in conjunction in the 11th house. There's lots of power here, and one should be careful not to go astray in the love-life.

Mars is just making a sextile to the ascendant, giving more energies to the individual to be active and assertive.

Mercury in the 11th house is sextile to the Mid, this is good for the career, for friends, for writing and communicating.

In the 6th house we have the three outer planets in the sign of Aquarius which is the 7th house sign. Uranus is conjuct the 7th house, while Neptune and Pluto are square to the Mid.

These three outer planets would influence the individual very much and make him acting like an Aquarian with much humanitarian principle.

We see also that two planets are in the sign of Taurus, and two in Gemini, and two in Cancer.

So that was a quick interpretation of the example chart.

Our next chart is of Annie Oakley. Her story is very interesting, and she had been through a lot. She was born 13th August 1860 at 12.00pm, North Star, Ohio, U.S.A.

I do hope that you'd be able to fill in the information and get it right. Get the planets in the right houses.

Now for a quick interpretation.

She has Scorpio rising on the ascendant. Mars, one of the rulers of Scorpio is in the third house and is exalted in the sign of Capricorn. Pluto, the other ruler, the last outer planet, is in the 6th house in the sign of Taurus.

There are some quick things that we can see. Hers un sign is Leo, she has four planets in Leo, we call this a stellium. She is a strong Leo, fiery, powerful.

We see that the planet Venus is in the 9th house. This has to do with travel and foreign peoples.

The sign on the 7th house is Taurus and it is ruled by Venus. This tells us that she has some connection with the 9th house. Her partner is from another country.

Back to her ruler Mars. It is exactly square to the 12th house. We know what the 12th house represents. But we must not forget that Mars is exalted in that third house. The third house is brothers and sisters, neighbours, the environment, travel,  close relatives. The 12th house is institutions, isolation, secret enemies. You see too, that Mars is conjunct the third house.

Mars is opposing Venus. They are tugging against each other. Mars, because it is exalted in Capricorn, gives much energy and one is very ambitious.

Mars is quincux to the Mid, this is a negative aspect, but you see Mars is strong in its exaltation sign,

Quite a lot of energy is put into the career. Mars is not a soft planet.

We see that Uranus is conjunct the 8th house, involvement here with other people's money, and deep insight.

Her moon is in the 8th house in the sign of Cancer. Cancer is the sign of the home and family. She is very sensitive and protective. She likes her home and family.

The Moon is conjunct the 9th house showing travel and foreign countries. The moon is trine with the ascendant, homely and close with the mother.Publicity.

It's interesting to know that she had no children. Her moon is square to Neptune in the fifth house--that of children.

Her moon is sextile Pluto in the 6th house. This gives deep insight, and to know things before hand.

Notice that Neptune is co-ruler of the fifth house.

She has Venus also in Cancer with the Moon there. Anyone with planets in Cancer are attracted to their home and country.

Venus is semi-sextile the Mid, square the 12th, and just about making a trine to the ascendant. This  would make her having a pleasant personality, full of grace, and appreciate beauty.

Mercury we see is in the 9th house and is making contact with the 9th. This is also travel.

Jupiter is also in the 9th house and making a square aspect to Pluto in the 6th house.

Any aspect with Jupiter and Pluto gives insight. One can be psychic.

We see too, that Jupiter is sextile the 8th house, but square to the ascendant. Jupiter is sextile to Uranus, making it good for her second and fifth houses.

The second house is that of money and possessions, the fifth house is that of sports, and entertainment.

Her sun is in the tenth house, this is because she was born around Midday. Still she has the chance to be in a high position in her career. And the sun is ruler of the 10th house. The sun is making contact with the 11th house, showing her hopes and wishes and friends, all to do with her career.

Saturn too, is in the 10th house, and as you already know, this is a position to hold a top job, or as a leader.

Both sun and Saturn are in conjunction with the Mid.

You'll see that Saturn is quincunx to Neptune in the fifth house, and that probably is the reason why she had no children.

That was a quick interpretation of Annie Oakley's chart. Her story is very interesting to read.

Our next chart is that of Princess Diana. She was born on 1st July 1961 at 19.45 pm, Sandringham, England.

Pluto............................06..02...................................Virgo

Sagittarius is on the Ascendant and the ruler Jupiter, is in the 2nd house in what we call an intercepted sign of Aquarius ( my pet word is a loop). Because of the latitude and the maths involved, some houses will have intercepted signs in  them. You will understand what's going on as we go through many different charts.

What you have to do is draw a little loop outwards inside the second house. Make sure there's room to place planets inside of it, and also in the second house itself.

Do the same over in the 8th house.

Now we find that our biggest planet, Jupiter is in the sign of Aquarius. This is someone with big humanitarian principles. She will have unusual friends.

Jupiter in the second house gives the chance to become wealthy. But Jupiter is semi-square the ascendant. This is a negative aspect, and one must be careful not to over eat. It could lead to overspending.

Jupiter is conjunct the second house making it more concrete that she'll be wealthy.

Jupiter is also conjunct Saturn. These two planets are good for philosophy and high education an d religion.

Jupiter is quincunx Pluto. Remember, I told you that any aspect with Jupiter and Pluto gives insight? Diana, at times could tell before hand certain things that would happen.

Jupiter is square to Neptune in the 10th house. this could have something to do with brothers and sisters, travelling, her own self and isolation and enemies. If Jupiter was in an angular position like Neptune, it would then be in a stronger position.

Her sun is in the sign of Cancer in the 7th house in conjunction with Mercury. This conjunction of sun and Mercury is always good for the intellect, depending on how close they are, and who is using them. She is very sensitive and protective.

The sun in the 7th house gives the chance of partnership with someone of high birth, or business partnerships.

The sun is sextile to Pluto in the 8th house. Pluto is ruling the 11th house along with Mars. Pluto is in its own house, and this is the house of legacies and other people's possessions.

The sun is semi-square Uranus in the loop in the 8th house. This is negative and is sure to cause some problems.

The sun is trine Neptune in the 10th house. This is a good positive aspect but still with some strangeness.

The moon is in the 2nd house in the loop in the sign of Aquarius. Here, we find that she is interested in friends, and clubs and is a humanitarian person.

The moon is just making a sextile aspect to the ascendant.

The moon is opposing Uranus and shows that she would have interest in scientifical things, also astrology.

The moon is square to the planet Venus in the fifth house. There is some sort of shyness here, and must be careful not to be led astray.

People of Aquarius always act as if they are shy, sort of unattatched, but not meaning to. Don't forget that the moon is in Aquarius.

The moon has a very good aspect to the Mid. This is good for the career, much publicity in the outer world. This aspect is a trine.

The moon is trine Mercury in the 7th house. The moon is ruler of the 8th house which is the partner's possessions. Mercury is ruling the 6th, 7th and 9th houses.

Saturn is in the first house conjunct the second house. Saturn is in its own sign Capricorn. It is square the Mid. One can still hold ahigh position, but there's always a chance of a fall, if one misbehaves.

Capricorn is the sign of power, and Saturn is strong in this first house. Probably an early start in life. A structural frame to the body. The conjunction to the second house could have something to do with antiques or old buildings. Cautious and secure.

Venus in the 5th house in the sign of Taurus. Here, she likes beautiful things. She likes sport and entertainment, and love affairs ( If Venus has a negative aspect). Most of all, she love children. Any chart with Venus in the fifth house should have a love for children even with negative aspects.

Venus is square to the sun in the 7th house. Venus is also square to Uranus in the 8th house in the loop, in the sign of Leo. Remember that leo is the sign of the fifth house in the fixed wheel. Some problems will crop up in the area of the fifth house and the 8th house.

Venus is trine to Sarurn in the first house. This is a good aspect and leads to loyalty. Venus is quincunx the Mid. This could make one artistic and lover of music and fashion. This aspect though,  is a negative one, but Venus is not a troublesome planet like Mars. But still it is negative.

Venus is square Mars and Pluto in the 8th house and is bound to bring some trouble.

Mercury has a trine aspect to Neptune, this is very sensitive, and is good for art or music. Mercury is also quincunx to the 12th house. This shows some problems in the 9th house, servants, public and partners.

Mars is conjunct Pluto in the 8th house, and both are making a sextile aspect with Neptune. Here, we are dealing with other people's possessions, and political friends. Interest in tyhe other side of this world. Mars is also conjuct Uranus. Lots of energy.

Uranus is exactly sextile the Mid. The career is unusual, exciting, humanitarian. Things happening suddenly. Notice that Uranus is in the 8th house, the house of legacies, the other world, and other people's possessions.

Neptune is in the 10th house. Neptune is ruling the 3rd house and has to do with much travel and communications.

That was a quick interpretation of the chart of Princess Diana.

There are lots more information in the wheel but it takes a long time to interpret it.

The next chart is of the sleeping prophet of America, Edgar Cayce. He was born 18th March 1877 at 15.20 pm, Hopskinville, Kentucky, U.S.A.

Pluto.................................22.55.......................Taurus

In this chart you see that the fifth sign of the fixed wheel is at the ascendant, the sign of Leo. Uranus is in the 12th house and in conjunction with the ascendant. These people has a mission and nothing will stop them. They are not easily overpowered. Uranus in the 12th has to do with occult and secrets.

Uranus is ruler of the 7th house. It is square the Mid and Pluto in the 10th house. Two outer planets Uranus and Pluto negative, but they are holding on to angular points. Some deep scientific things here.

The sun is the ruler of the ascendant sign of leo. The sun is in the 8th house in the sign of Pisces. So we can say his sun sun sign is Pisces. People are soft, kind and compassionate.

The sun is semi-square the moon in the 9th house. This is negative and can cause some inner conflict. Remember, this is the sun and moon combination.

The sun is sextile Pluto i the 10th house. This is really a powerful aspect. It can give a striving for power. Deep and penetrating. Sees and feels things that others doesn't see and feel.

There are four planets in the sign of Pisces, we call this a stellium. This makes the person a very strong Pisces.

The moon is in the 9th house in the sign of Taurus. Taurus is a money sign and the person is responding to that as well.

The moon in the 9th house has to do with travel and higher subjects such as religion, philosophy and education. Even if people do not travel to foreign countries, they can do it mentally.

The moon is conjunct the Mid. This is bound to bring outside pubicity.

The moon is sextile to Mercury in the 7th house. This is a real positive aspect and shows that the responses and the intellect are working good. Communictaive.Writing.Talking. Getting to know what is true.

The moon is sextile Venus in the 7th house. This is a positive aspect and shows  an affectionate and nice person. A person who likes to function on love.Likes to help others.

The moon is sextile Saturn in the 7th house. This is positive and shows a serious person who has control over the feelings. Very careful.

Mercury is in the 7th house in the sign of Pisces. In the sign of Pisces, can show someone who has psychic powers. Able to ferret out things that are hidden.

Mercury is conjunct Venus. This is a good combianation for a disciplined person. The intellect and love are joined in harmony. This is good for art and writing.

Mercury is conjunct the 8th house. people will know about secret things. Interest in the public and partnerships because Mercury is in the 7th house.

Mercury conjunct Saturn. People are serious. Good concentration and good at organizing.

Mercury is sextile Mars in the 5th house. Here we find that these two planets being positive could make one very clever. Love of partnerships and children. Quick thinking.

Venus is in the 7th house in the sign of Pisces. love is at its highest here. Venus is exalted in the sign of pIsces and should bring out all the love and compassion and kindness and helpfulness. And because venus is in the 7th house it shows what his partner is like.

Venus is making contact to the 9th house. This is like Venus in the 9th house and has to do with high thinking, foreign countries and peoples, religion,  travel philosophy and education.

Venus is sextile the Mid.  Musical, artistic, lovable. A good sociable person.

Venus is conjunct Saturn. There is solidness in love and loyalty as well.

Venus is exactly  at the orb limit for a sextile with Pluto. if it is working, love could be very deep.

It is important to find out how negative a planet is in a chart.

In this chart we see that the planet Venus is exalted in Pisces, and have good aspects from around the chart. The person is a very loving person with deep compassion for others.

Venus is sextile Mars. Here we have the 7th house and the 5th house. Partnerships and children and entertainment all are positive with this person.

Inside the fifth house we see the planet Mars in the sign of Capricorn, and I would like to say that it is in conjunction with Jupiter. Our orb is up to 8 degrees

Mars is exalted in the sign of Capricorn, so all its energies are there to be used  by the individual. And notice, Mars is the ruler of the 9th house, and also of the fourth. It is the ruler of the first in  the fixed wheel.

So here we have the person deeply interested in religion, and all the high subjects. The fifth house is a creative house, so we can say that the person is very creative, and as I have already said, fond of children.

Now for those of you who are very fearful, take care and understand what you are about to read.

The fourth house has to do with the home, the country, real estate and the Grave. I just stated that Mars is the ruler of 9th house and of the fourth. This same Mars also has good contact with the moon in the 9th house. And the moon is the ruler of the 12th house, isolation, meditation, mystic, etc., You must always associate yourself with Neptune, the ruler of the 12th house in the fixed wheel.

I do hope that you know the fixed wheel by now, and have studied it deeply because it is going to help you with interpretaions of the chart. It makes it more easier for you when you know the fixed wheel works. And remember, it is fixed.

Mars is also trine to the mid giving energy to the career--staying power.

Mars is sextile to Saturn. Again , we are dealing with the 7th and the 5th houses. And we find that Saturn is the ruler of the 6th and 7th houses. We can say that there is something good going on here to do with health, hygiene, colleagues and work. And also to do with partnerships and the public.

Jupiter is in the fifth house in the sign of Capricorn. Have you noticed anything here? Jupiter is in the sign known as its fall, because the opposite sign of Cancer is where the planet is exalted. So we are losing some energy here. But Jupiter is trine to the ascendant, trine to Neptune up in the 9th house, and it has Mars helping it out.
Jupiter in the fifth house is in a position to be interested in teaching--especially children. The contact to the ascendant makes the person to be kind, helpful and generous. Notice the two signs that are in trine--Capricorn and Leo. Capricorn is the 10th sign in the fixed wheel while Leo is the 5th sign in the fixed wheel. The tenth house is the career, the fifth house is creative and children etc., The chance is there to be working with children.

Saturn is in the 7th house in the sign of Pisces. I have met many people with Saturn in Pisces, and I saw how they acted towards others--very compassionate and helpful. In the 7th house, they are interested in partnerships and the public, and sometimes there could be a partner who is younger or older than the individual.

Saturn is sextile to the Mid.(10th house). Saturn owns this house. Thew person could be a leader or a boss, or doing well in the career.

We have Neptune in the 9th house making a 110 degree contact with the ascendant. If the trine is working here, then we have a very sensitive person. Musical or artistic. Neptune is semi-square Venus. With a disciplined person this aspect could be used for art or music.

Pluto in the 10th house holds a very strong and powerful position, and it is co-ruler with Mars over the fourth house.

Pluto is semi-sextile 11th house, square the ascendant. Remember, planets squaring angular points are strong, yet negative, and it depends on who is using these negative energies. For negative energies can be turned into good.

That was also a quick interpretation of Edgar Cayce's chart.

Our next chart is of Jean Charon born 25th February 1920 at 09.00 am, Paris, France.

This chart has intercepted signs (loops). They are found in the 6th and 12 houses. They are Libra, intercepted 6th house, Aries, intercepted 12th house.

Make sure that you draw your chart big enough to place the intercepted signs in.

The ascendant is Taurus with the moon in Taurus conjuncting the ascendant.

We should know by now how to unterpret the moon in Taurus and in the first house.

The moon has to do with women or the mother. Probably attached to the mother and also the home. Taurus is a money sign and is stubborn and loyal and loving. Taurus belongs to the second house in the fixed wheel.

Notice that the moon is ruler of the third and fourth houses.

Here we see how planets make contact to each other negatively, but holding striong positions being angular. The moon in the first square both Jupiter and Neptune.

Another thing you must know is that the planets comes in pairs, trebles, fours, fives, and sixes etc,.

The moon is trine to Saturn in the 5th house. This Saturn is the individual's destiny planet. It is in the sign of Virgo, the sign for analytical critical, looking for small details, it also has to do with work and colleagues and health. The 5th house is that of creativity sports, entertainment, children etc,.

Saturn is ruling the 9th house which has to do with far-reaching things, space, foreign countries and peoples, high education, philosophy and publications.

Saturn is also ruling the 10th house which has to do with the outside world and the career, and parents and authority.

Saturn is co-ruler with Uranus of the 11th house. This house is scientific, friends, clubs groups, hopes and wishes.

The moon in the first house is sextile Mercury in the 12th house. Mercury is ruler of the second and sixth houses. This contact between the moon and Mercury is a good one. The response and emotions mixed with the intellect positively.

The moon is also sextile the 12th house.

The Moon is trine the Mid. This is bound to bring publicity in the career.

The ascendant sign Taurus is ruled by Venus. We find Venus in the 10th house in the sign of Aquarius. Venus is in an angular position and is good for the career, people could use Venus for music or art. The sign Venus is in has to do with unusual and scientifical subjects. Venus is also ruler of the intercepted sign in the 6th house.

You probably want to know a bit about interceptions. Many astrologers think they have to do with energies that are held back, and are released at a certain time. I think they have to do with something extra. I am still researching them.

The moon in the first house is opposing the planet Mars in the 6th house. Mars is in conjunction with the 7th house (angular). Mars is co-ruler of the 7th house, and the intercepted sign of Aries in the 12th house.

Understand this carefully: the sun is in the 11th house in the sign of Pisces conjunct Uranus also in the 11th house, and aslo in the sign of Pisces.

Pisces is a water sign and people will be very sensitive with lots of feelings. This 11th house is ruled by both Saturn and Uranus in the fixed wheel. In this wheel, it is ruled by them as well. So we have Uranus in its own house. How do you feel when you're in your own house? Uranus is the planet of science, suddenness and disruptiveness, and things that are unusual.

Notice that the sun is conjunct Uranus. Many scientists normally have some sort of connection with the sun and Uranus. And being in the 11th house, the individual will have many friends who are like him, and probably part of some scientifical group.

The sun is just about sextile with the ascendant giving energy to the personality. The sun is the ruler of the 5th house of creativity.

The sun is trine Mars in the 6th house. giving lots more energy to do whatever the individual takes on for work.

The sun is opposing Saturn in the 5th house. Some slight problems in the areas ruled by the sun and Saturn.

Then we have the sun trine Pluto in the third house. This is a positive aspect and would give much deep and penetrating insight to the individua. Both sun and Pluto are in water signs.

Don't forget that the third house has to do with writings, travel, thinking reading, close family etc,.

Mercury is in the 12th house in the sign of Pisces and conjuncting the 12th house.

Mercury in Pisces has psychic abilities, can easily feel and understand what's going on around them. In conjunction with the 12th, shows isolated study, very sensitive, mystical and strange.

Mercury is sextile the Mid. Communications in the career. Mercury is ruling the 2nd house and the 6th.

He has three planets in the sign of Pisces, two in Leo. A strong pisces will show more than the Leo, and the ascendant Taurus. They'll all mix up like when a chef is in the kitchen making soup.

The ascendant ruler Venus is square to Mars, opposing Jupiter and Neptune, and quincunx to Pluto. Keep your eyes on Venus, Jupiter and Neptune--they're all in angular positions, only Pluto is not. Pluto is co-ruler of the 7th house, that of partnerships and marriage.

Mars is in the 6th house in the sign of Scorpio, conjunct the 7th house. There is energy for deep insight here. Much energy into the work along with colleagues. There coiuld be some confusion to do with marriage.

Mars is sextile Saturn and will bring the houses ruled by Saturn in a positive position.

Mars is square Jupiter and neptune. Again, we are dealing with planets in angualr positions but can still give some problems.

Jupiter is ruling the 8th and 12th houses, Neptune is ruleing the 12th.

Mars is opposing the ascendant.

Jupiter is in the 4th house but in the sign of the 5th house, Leo. This is like a king, could be a teacher, creative, like sports and entertainment.

Jupiter is conjunct the 5th house, trine the 8th house. Here you see that Jupiter is making contact to the house of Pluto, this gives very deep insight to know hidden things.

Jupiter is conjunct Neptune. Both these planets are ruling the 12th house, and both are square to the ascendant.

Uranus is in the 11th house in the sign of Pisces. There's something definitely here to do with scientifical things.

Uranus is semi-sextile Venus in the 10th. This has to do with self, friends and work and career.

Uranus is exactly sextile the 9th. Even a child would be able to work this one out.

Uranus trine Mars. Enormous energy here.

Neptune is conjunct the 5th house.

Pluto is conjunct the 3rd house.

A quick interpretation was given here on the chart of Jean Charon.

The next chart is Charles Darwin born 12 February 1908 at 03.00 am, Shewsbury, UK.

In this chart the ascendant is rising with the 9th sign of the fixed wheel. This sign in its positive way is seeking freedom for self and for others. It is the sign of long distance travel, and foreign countries. It is the sign of all high education. One thing you musn't forget, this sign has to do with space.

The 9th sign of the fixed wheel, of course is Sgaittarius.

I'd like to drum it in your head that the biggest planet in our solar system is Jupiter. It may seem strange to you now why I keep saying that, but later, you yourself will come to understand the reason. Think about it carefully, it will help you understand when you are interpreting charts. Our earth can go into Jupiter about 1300 times. Now you see how big Jupiter is.

What about someone who falls under the powers of Jupiter, positively or negatively? In some charts you will find these powers.

The ruler of Sagittarius is Jupiter. We need to go over to the 8th house and we find it there with 6 degrees and 52 minutes of the sign Leo and retrograde.

When I first started astrology, I saw the 8th house as a dark house. Mars and Pluto are rulers of this house. I wrote earlier than any connection with Jupiter and Pluto whether positive or begative, gives the ability to know things that others do not know. You're like a psychic.

Jupiter and Pluto are brothers in mythology, if we add Neptune, then we get the three brothers. What would you then say if you were to come across a chart with the three brothers in tyhe 8th house?

Jupiter is the sky, Neptune, the sea, and Pluto, the underworld.

So we have Jupiter in the 8th house. He is going to know what's going on in this house of Pluto, his brother. Jupiter is going to make this house big, he's going to know the secrets of this house. And notice, he is in the 5th sign of the fixed wheel, Leo.

The sun is ruler of leo, which has to do with life power, creativity, and this fifth house, don't forget is where children are born. When a woman is having a child we look to the 5th house, then other points.

This Jupiter then, is making a trine to the ascendant. This is very positive. Jupiter will give all its kindness and power to the individual.

The individual will be generous, fortunate and lucky, and of course deeply interested in all the 9th house business.

Not only is Jupiter in the 8th house, but it is in the sign of Leo which is the sign of the 9th house. Are you with me so far? Study your 9th house properly then you'll undertsand more clearly when someone talks about the 9th house.

Jupiter is sextile the Mid (Midheaven). This is the point where the planets climb up to, then drops down. We shall talk more about that later.

This sextile then is a positive aspect for the outside world and the career.

Jupiter is also ruler of the intercepted sign Pisces in the third house. There are no planets in the first house.

His sun is in the sign of Aquarius in the second house but conjuncting the third house. Does this tell you anything?

He is an Aquarian and will be interested in unusual and scientific subjects, friends and groups.

Because the sun is conjunct the third house, he'll be interested in his environment, travel, close family, writing and reading.

Notice that the sun is ruler of the 9th house. Does that mean anything to you? By now you must know what the 9th house represents.

The sun has a sextile aspect with the planet Mars in the 4th house. These are positive energies and will make him active and assertive in whatever he does. Mars is ruler of the 4th and 5th house, and also co-ruler of the 12th.

The sun is trine Pluto in the 7th house. This is a deep penetrating aspect. He will be interested in things that are hidden. Pluto is co-ruler of the 12th house, house of isolation, secrets, study, meditation.

Notice the sign Pluto is in, it is the sign of the third house in the fixed wheel, Gemini.

The sun has no bad aspects, bear this in mind. It has a very good aspect with the moon

The moon is in the 7th house in the sign of Gemini connjunct Pluto.

Whether Pluto is a dwarf planet or not, we know that it is working in the charts. In this chart, with the moon, deep insight is shown here.

The moon in the 7th house is good for publicity and partnerships.

The moon is sextile the 9th house. This has to do with travel and contact with foreign peoples. The moon is in an angular position.

The moon is sextile Mars, ideas galore, energetic, creative, strong feelings.

The moon is square to Venus. Moodiness, with slight problems in the work place and the career.

The moon is square Saturn, some slight problems with money and possessions and travel.

The Moon is square the Mid. Now you see that the moon is in an angular position, and is square to the Mid. Angle to angle, we could only say that there'll be some publicity in the career, but also some negative ones.

His Mercury is in the third house in the sign of Pisces. The third house is owned by Mercury itself, and in the fixed wheel, we find the sign of Gemini there. Very much interested in writing, talking travelling, communicating and studying.

In the sign of Pisces, Mercury is like a psychic, strong feelings ans very sensitive.

Mercury is square the ascendant. Must be careful when speaking, and to think carefully before they utter something that could offend others.

Notice that Mercury is in a water sign ruled by Jupiter and Neptune. Mercury is trine to Neptune in the 8th house. Mercury is clever, alert, communicative, thinking. Neptune is sensitive, mystic,  compassionate, intuitive. Just think if these two planets were in an undisciplined person chart, and being negative. They would probably be causing trouble with drinking alcohol and doing strange (Neptune) things. But as we see, in this chart, they are positive, and Mercury is ruler of the 7th house, and the intercepted sign of Virgo, its own sign, in the 9th house.

Neptune is ruling the opposite intercepted sign of Pisces where Mercury is stationed.

So we have Mercury in a intercepted sign of Pisces in the third house.

My theory is that something extra is happening here which has to do with the third house.

I once heard of someone who like a curry dish. I invited them to come and try some that I had made. I am not a very good cook, but I can assure you, in my company, you'll not starve.

So I went out and got all the ingriedients. I made sure that everything was right; the rice not too soggy, and not too hard. The curry sauce must just be right, and taste delicious.

When the guests came, they sat down and I dished out the food, then we started eating. Every now and then, I saw the guest taking out his handkerchief, and wiping his forehead. I knew that the curry was good and it was doing its job. I was pleased.

Astrology is something like that. There are lots of combinations between the planets. It is up to you to get the right interpretation.

And when you do, you'll be pleased with yourself. But it's not an easy task. For if you were to look back at some of the old interpretations that were given long back in the past, you would not pursue astrology at all.

There are some great astrologers who gets it absolutely right, and their writings make sense. Others would lead you into foolishness.

We find the planet Venus in the intercepted sign of Pisces in the 3rd house.

In this sign, Venus is exalted. Venus is rulng the 6th house which is work, colleagues, health and hygiene and pets. Venus rules the 10th and 11th houses as well.

Everything that Venus stands for should work in a good way for the individual. I said in a good way because the palnet is exalted. Even when a planet is exalted, it could still be receiving negative aspects from around the chart, so you have to be careful with your interpretation.

And it is also important to know that we as human beings use the powers of the planets according to our heredity, our upbringing, and our environment.

You might find a chart with all negative aspects and hoping to give your interpretation negatively. But if you know a little about who the person is that is using the negative aspects, you'll have no problem at all with your interpretation. Sometimes you find planets in the first house making square contact to the Mid or planets in the 7th house making contact to the Mid. Also from the first house to the 4th, and the 7th to the 4th.

So we have Venus exalted in the 3rd house in interception. This Venus is also trine to the ascendant.

Venus is always good for music and art when it is making good contact.

Venus is also conjunct Saturn in the 3rd house. This can make a disciplined person loyal and responsible, patient.

Mars is in the 4th house in the sign of Aries, its own sign. There'll be lots of energy here, and there are no real negative aspect to it except the sesqui-quadrate to the ascendant. Normally, we find Mars in the fourth house giving trouble to the home and family. If Mars is very much negative, then problems with parents and family.

Saturn is in the 3rd house in the sign of Pisces intercepted.

Saturn is in the house of Mercury and it is possible that some serious study could take place. Also travel and writing. Saturn in PIsces is kind and compassionate, interested in helping others.

Saturn is square Pluto in the 7th house. This could bring problems in the second and 12th house.

Uranus is in the second house in the sign of Capricorn with a square aspect to Mars. These energies can be sudden and disruptive. Working themselves out in the third, 5th and 12th house.

Neptune is in the 8th house in the sign of Cancer, a water sign. Neptune is conjunct the 8th. It is also opposing Uranus in the second house. Neptune is co-ruler of the intercepted sign in the 3rd house.

Strange, dark, psychic experiences, very full of feelings and sensitve.

The intercepted sign of Pisces in the 3rd house is showing that something extra is happening in this third house.

The opposition to Uranus could bring out something starnge and scientific, and we see that Uranus is co-ruler of the third house, while Neptune is co-ruler of the intercepted in  that same house. And don't forget that Neptune is associated with the the sea.

Pluto, ruler of the 12th house is in the 7th in the sign of Gemini. This is deep penetrating intellectual force. Searching, trying to unravel things. Dark writings. Contact with the public, Political.

We have gathered some quick information from this chart of Charles Darwin..
