God almighty that from heaven watches over us,

My lips confide in you that deeply I do trust.

Spirits from above—kind and so benign,

In the name of love save the man that’s in my mind.

Make him suffer not for the burdens that he bears,

Brighten up his eyes and his heart that’s now impaired.

Take my soul, oh please! Instead of taking his,

To feel always deceased—I am used to this.

Faces of all goodness, please manifest for me,

Divine and never ruthless, I bow and pray to thee.

Take my decrepit heart and break into pieces,

I rather live that part while his pain decreases.

Fly away to where he is watch him as he’s resting,

And with a subtle kiss give him all your blessings.

Inhale his sorrow now and handkerchief his tears,

Illuminate him out from the labyrinth of fears.

If his blame someone must carry then give it all to me,

And let him know that I am sorry, truly and vehemently.

Fair and lovely angels dressed up all in white,

Please soothe him as he trembles don’t let him out of sight.

Spirits sent from God, subdue to my request,

I don’t want to see him sad so please go manifest.

My lord consume the fire that slowly burns his soul,

And help him soon acquire what in this prayer I’ve told.
