I found that ray of light.

Blinding me from what’s wrong and what’s right.

I touched it softly and watched it crumble into thin air.

It was so big and bad until confronted by something so pure and bare.

Kind of like you my love.

So, in control and fierce until push comes to shove.

You are owned by your own addiction.

Being an addict also makes you an affliction.

You need to wake up and find the will.

You are starting to kill our love and becoming a buzzkill.

I’m not afraid to give you a taste without the sugar coating.

Maybe your ego will give the world a break with your never-ending gloating.

How can you live without the sunrise?

How can you live tied down with all these lies?

Listen as your mother cries.

Listen as her heart breaks into pieces as it dies.

I need you to need the thrill of waking up each day.

Stop keeping the rest of your years at bay.

I believe in you.

The angels around us believe in you too.

Those needles won’t bring me back to you.

And won’t bring you to me.

That’s not the way to be set free.

I’ll see you one day after old age.

When your story is on its last page.

Get up baby, and find new love in this life.

Love your late wife.
