Sacrifice

Sacrificing your good, to make greatness,

Losing what you love to make even more love,

As without giving, you become faithless

And without feeling, you become heartless.

So go outside and spread the word of joy,

Sing your voice out like a little choir boy,

As without giving, you become faithless

And without feeling, you become heartless.

Selfish.

Hear the harrowing calls of discomfort,

But don’t listen.

And don’t follow the path of narcissism.

Please don’t fall to discrimination,

As without giving, you become faithless.

Sacrificing what you own for the good

Is what the givers will have understood

As without feeling, you become heartless.
