Solstice warm, longest day, with you I know another year of season.

Through every lasting moment counted, and for the proper reason.

Lingering at the window of the west, gazing at the remnants of sunset,

where  twlight is waiting in the wings,

for the stars of faith and continuance to show thier face once again.

Looking beyond the horizion, pondering the passing of time,

that which is of growing older and wiser, while letting go of spring.

But still there is remembered youth filled joy, as a part of my spirit kept.

And now I see the colors as I never have before,

with shades of yellow golden meeting reds merging with blue.

The depth of beauty viewed, now seen through the eyes of wisdom,

creating a very different hue.

It is that which is upon the pallet that is the summer sky slowly becoming night,

where all color surely turns to black, until the summer sunrise.
