How is this possible?

Surpassing all negative emotions,

I feel, I see, but I freeze.

She.

We are lost, but ever so found.

Dusk carries us, we admire nature’s crown.

Looking ahead I see our path,

The ending is an unknown craft.

All thoughts disappear as night draws near.

Still amazed of how I feel,

Pondering if this could be real.

Winds guide us down our path.

I feel, I see, but I freeze.

My hand feels warm,

I see her touch, beautifying.

Though I protect her, she has never appeared so adorned.

Just by her hand, just by her movement,

I feel reformed.

Her eyes guide to mine,

As if they were not permitted by time.

Such care she gives with her stare,

Ending this moment – I shall not dare.

We stay in the forest,

We embrace dusk.

Autumn always reveals,

It is that season we lust.

We stay here – no words exchanged,

Forever content, if this moment remains the same.
