THE BIRD'S DYING

The bird seems chirping on a tree
Crying and moaning to get a smooth flee!
It is though free to fly
Still seems it's all in vain to try!
Its wings are bruised its beak seems weak
Poor little soul has fallen from the peak!
Who has scared it who has hurt it?
It has lost its esteem bit by bit!
Flight? Forgotten that! It's no more active
Lying in the cage got someone's captive!
He gives it a tiny bowl of water to drink
But it's become so silent; gets shiver and shrink!
One touch on its neck with his finger hurts
Just one hard pinch if anything it blurts!
The bird is dying in there
It does not need water but his care!
He goes oblivious to its cries
Slams the cage so tight, 'what if it tries?'!
The Bird's eyes are closing at slow pace
It's looking before him if he gives it face!
No one comes everyone goes here
Its eyes could not control the tear!
Half-open her beak trying to call
As if he were the reason of its fall!
It's dead it's dead it's finally dead
The cold bricks are made its bed!
Who will come to take it by the way
No one will touch it nor will have a say!
Poor little thing will lie there in silent mode
He is gone, has taken the way to road!
