The second half and perspective of my other poem, "Into the Light of Love: Yin." In the same way that Yang is the male part of the Yin-Yang and balance, this part is from a male's perspective.

You watched me all these years,

You admired me so much,

And you internally explode

At the warmth of my touch

And though I never saw you,

Though I pursued another,

You never gave up on me -

You could truly love no other.

And in all of

My struggles in pain,

And as I was cast out

Again and again,

When by the one I loved

I was rejected,

I felt so empty,

And so dejected.

But I kept fighting,

And I remained strong,

To find love that would hit me

Like glorious dawn.

I thought no one could

Truly ever love me,

But then I saw you that fateful day

Beneath a shaded tree.

It touched me to know

You'd listen to me,

And I knew I could pour out

My feelings so free.

I told you I only

Tried to be strong,

And inside I deeply

Hurt all along.

When I thought I

Was empty and alone,

I found that with you

I felt at home.

I tried to tell you in simple words:

You are the only one to hear

My feelings and my every fear.

I love you and I hold you dear -

Then, I held your hand.
