"The Dream catcher
sways within the wind,
delicately.
Blue beads chime
as they knock into
one another.
Music to my ears.
I like the way it sounds when
I'm far away and dreaming.

Feathers,
white, gray, fluffy.
I touch them.
Slide my fingers down
as I catch my breath,
longing for good dreams.
Now I close my eyes
and go to sleep.

The bad dreams
are caught within the web.
Filtered,
chastised,
burned away like old forgotten thoughts.

And now safety
the positive energy can move through,
working it's way through the hole in the center.
And it rests on the feather like a dew drop,
evaporating to the Great Spirit within the morning sun."
