I looked in the mirror for the first time in a long time. I didn't recognize her. The lifeless pale eyes staring back at me . Face aged with years and years of stress and sorrow. The blank expression I received back. I hadn't realized how much you took from me. I didn't think you could take that bright twinkle that once shined in my bright green eyes. There once was a girl with great confidence and a bounce in her stride. High hopes and dreams to achieve. A fairy tale I would one day make my reality. I had never in a million years thought for a second I would wear a face of defeat and torn faith. For you I gave my all . A fight I had won only in my mind , for the battle wounds I shall feel forever. A fate I will hate for eternity.
