Once, to the desert we went,

To see the camels and how they spent -

Their time in the lovely desert.

And by chance we got milk and dessert,

When the owner met us on the way…

And requested us to stay…

We had dates and coffee,

And the kids each got a toffee.

We had fed the camels a few pieces of bread,

Sadly nothing much by the way could be fed,

As we had no idea how much these camels ate!

The weather was great in the evening,

And I had enough sightseeing…

Climbing up a sand dune,

I felt the wind playing a lovely tune,

Blowing the sand from dune to dune!
