This poem took me about a minute to write. It just came into my head.

Breathing the breath of life

We live from day to day.

Through trouble and strife,

We've got lots to say.

Like thank you ''Great One,''

For a journey that we started.

We know it isn't done

'till we're parted--

From that heavy material frame,

When the solar wind shall take us speedily

To that place without a name,

Then we shall feed on the spirit, but not greedily.

But we first have to endure

The harsh environmental ways

We have to live, love, hate, and even more,

While we get pounded with those fiery rays.
