The most evil of all tortures

The clock ticking

The murmuring of other students, followed by soft laughter

The clicking of pens, shuffling of movement on chairs

I sit in my chair, bored out of my own mind

Lost in my own little world

Trapped in a dreamland, for this world is uneventful

Head resting on my fist, praying for some stimuli

If I hear one more pen click I just may go insane

Even a cough, something to yank me out of my world

Something to interest me

For staring at the wall can only entertain one for so long

Please, something cure my boredom
