On the other hand, Sarah continues her education and took admission in medical college as her father was a rich business man. Talha agreed his parents on taking his proposal to Sarah house. His father dress in white shalwar kamees and his mother dressed in light blue. All three were happy.

They arrived at Sarah’s house and his parents entered her house, he left for his house. Sarah’s father welcomed his brother warmly. Tea was poured into white little cups with cakes and biscuits to eat. Talha’s father asked for the hand of his niece. Sarah smiled and went to her room. Eyes of Sarah’s parents were locked into each other with a surprise on their faces. They asked Talha’s parents for a week to discuss their proposal. There Talha sitting in his house waiting for his parents. It looked like the time had stopped as the wait was killing him. At last they arrived and his wait ended. They told Talha about the proposal. He went happily to bed that night and dreamed about his beloved to be with him soon. Next was the day when Sarah was born, it was her birthday. Sarah’s father arranged a birthday party and invited all his friends and relatives. Talha dressed in white and having a beautiful ring as gift for Sarah went to the party. It was a nice party a big hall, yellow lighting, a big birthday cake and a beautiful birthday girl in red. It went on and at the time when everyone was leaving Talha went to give the gift. On the door step of Sarah room Talha listened Sarah and her father arguing on Talha proposal. Sarah argued to marry Talha on the other hand her father wanted her to marry his business partner son, who was a millionaire. As Talha listened he went back to home.

That was a beautiful night, moon up in the sky lightning the dark night. Lying on his bed Talha was thinking of Sarah and her father arguments. He got up from his bed in a hurry and packed his bag and stuff and left the house. He went to Rachan. The next morning his parents were surprised to see Talha was not in his room. They rushed to Sarah’s house to tell her father about the thing happened. Sarah’s father was a resourceful man. He used his resources but there was no trace of Talha. Talha was on the roof of a truck going towards Rachan. Rachan was a big city. All kinds of people from all parts of the country used to come to Rachan to find jobs. Talha got security guard job in a printing press. Talha left behind his parents, Sarah and his village. He sends money and wrote letters to his parent to let them know that he was fine. Time passed and he got interested in reading books. After months, he was having every kind of knowledge.

One of his friends there advised Talha to give a commission exam. Talha refused and said that he had not enough knowledge and money to participate in the exam. One afternoon when Talha was in his room tired someone knocked on the door of the room. He went to open the door and as he opened the door he saw postman on the door handling Talha a brown paper. Postman went and Talha opened the paper, there it was his roll number for the commission exam starting in the next month. He was shocked and thought that he had not applied for the exam how can it happen. Then at that time he realized that it was his friend who had applied for the exam for him. Next day when Talha went for work he asked his friend about applying for the admission and his friend laughed. Talha asked him the purpose of his laughing and he replied that he was happy to know that you got in the criteria for applying in exam. His friend said to him that he was sure that he would pass the exam only if he tries his best. This was the trust of his friend that encouraged Talha and he worked hard for the exam. In the morning, he gives the paper and in the night, he studied for the next. The owner of the printing press was a good man and he bought books for Talha and gave him a leave of two months for the exam with the pay of two months. It was the hardest days of his life after that day of Sarah’s birthday party. Exam ended and he was happy with his efforts and what his friend and boss did for him.

The door knocked and he went angrily to the door and once again he found postman on his door step. He handed him once again a brown paper and left. Talha threw the paper to a side of room and slept. When Talha woke up he found his friend in his room. Sitting on the floor his friend was reading the brown paper and smiling. Talha was surprised and asked him the reason of his smile and presence. His friend said that he saw the postman coming towards his room so he came to know the reason of his presence and said that here it is in my hands. Talha was confused and got the paper from his hands and read it. It was the happiest moment of his life knowing that he had passed the exam. He hugged his friend and apologized to his friend for his harsh behavior.

Sweets were distributed in the office of printing press in the joy of Talha passing the exam. Talha was then called for the interview and was selected as a police officer. He got three months training and was then posted to Samarpur his own village. He saw his parents in the old half broken house. They both were in torn up clothes looking like they have not eaten for several days. It was then when they saw him, tears shed from their eyes. His father white beard was wet with tears and his mother aged face was also wet. He went closer to them and sweeps their tears and said “you don’t have to worry anymore I am back.” They sat and talked for a long time. At that time, he came to know that Sarah was married to the one whom her father wanted but after a month they got divorced and Sarah husband got all the money and business from her father. He got upset on hearing about what happened to Sarah. The villagers and relatives came to Talha house to congratulate him. His Uncle Sarah’s father also came. His uncle was dressed in old clothes having torn up shoes in his foots. It made Talha so sad. Talha got a job for his uncle as a clerk in his office. His uncle was happy with the behavior that Talha had with him after all what happened.

In few years Talha was ranked up the order as he was a good officer. Talha was famous for his honesty in his region. Sarah’s father told Sarah that he is going to talk with Talha parents about her and Talha marriage. Sarah said nothing. Sarah’s father came to Talha’s house and told the reason of his visit to Talha parents. They were so much happy with it that they quickly accepted the proposal. That day when Talha came to home his parents told him about what had happened earlier that day. Talha was also happy and he said nothing and agreed with his parents. When Sarah heard of what had happened she was very happy. And yet Talha dream of being together with his beloved came to be true.
