A A A | A A A

Do you think somebody out there
Is as lonely as I?

Do you think, like me, that they constantly wonder why?

As much sense as it makes
I just don't understand
Maybe it just takes
A better, empathetic man

This heart of mine
Has ceased to beat
This brain of mine
Has accepted defeat
A soul like mine
Wanders the dark narrow street
A place with no life
Nowhere do any plants grow

It's dead outside
Just as it is in.
Nobody has the need to try to look within
We all just live here
Invisible in plain sight
Trying to stand out
Against the camouflaged light
