Stars over sky winked up above the high
Lost in here I woke up with a tear in my eye
Moist eyes were seen quietly set
Pin-prick pain it bore on pillow wet!
This time is very tough l don't know
If I can manage and let it go!
His single touch cringes my nerves
As so harsh a trembler it serves!
It is not the face I dreamed of
It was something really sweet and soft!
I could hear the piece of glass shattering in me
Are they my dreams or is that stubborn I in me?
Where is the real I gone I cried
I'd compromise! How much I have tried!
Things are not working I'm still at my window
Coffee cup is empty; life has stopped to glow!
My hair are changed I'm no more beautiful
I am different; forced to be dutiful!
I had my ways and he has his own
He can't love me; never as he's shown!
I'm nothing but a servant at his home
Where I've to work and he to flutter and roam!
When would he open his heart for me and care
Can't he leave me? I get afraid of his cruel stare!
Now the night paints loneliness so straight
Stroke over stroke; painful blotches in the plate!

Wondered and compromised, 'It was fated'
That I married to a man I hated!
