This short story/book is written from two point of views:
There's Quinn (based on myself):
I feel like I'm dying from the inside out. No one can here my screams. I'm the only one left who can see -- who can see that now is the only now -- the only now that will ever remain, unless we can change the course of history, and rewrite linear and non-linear time. And last time I checked us hu-mans (pronounced like a Ferengi) aren't that qualified in that general field. Even when it comes to understand time most hu-mans just know it moves forward and maybe it's relative? But soon I will make them see, after I deal with everything that's currently going on in my life.

And Lorne Mitchell (a character loosely based on my subconscious):
You're not ready for the world outside. You try pretending, then decide to hide. I can keep track of you mental state. So I -- I will slay your inner demons and make them cry. I will save your memories that you think are lies. If for once, just once you listen to me and let me help you. Just shut up. Stop always thinking. Let me in Quinn, I can help you if you just let me in. I can save your world if only you allow me to help.
