Blue sky day

God's way

the trees are quiet now

the streams are colder

we are older

life is bolder

like in the old days

rabbits are soft

horses rest in the

hay loft

the smell of fresh clay

and grandma baking

peach and apple pies

our souls will never die

the scarecrow quivers

the pumpkin shivers

cold summer

fall is not here

58 degrees at night

bed bugs dance

in the moon light

but a warmer

frostbite

the birds are chirping

bulldogs are birping

(Psalm 108: 1-4)
