A A A

The sun has set behind us now

And stars are in the sky

And trees are blowing in the wind

Breathing gentle sighs.

We all dance around the fire,

Basking in its light,

And all the world around us sings

A song for a summer's night.

Hear the river runnin' through the ground

And calling us along.

It calls us back to youthful dreams,

The place where we belong.

We're all running with the stream

Filled with spirits bright

And all the world around us sings

A song for a summer's night. (chorus)

We look into the heavens now

And stare at stars so bright.

Clear, white clouds and constellations

Coming into sight.

We all gaze up at the moon,

Stunned by its light,

And all the world around us rings

With a song for a summer's night. (chorus)

Chorus:

Feel the summer song run through your soul

As a moonbeam and a river's roll.

When the whole world sings, you've got to join

A song for a summer's night.
