The creeping rat left the wood, drawn to the township and the filth.

The plague was in its blood as its paw print was traced upon the hearth.

Spreading rapidly within the human condition of lust filled desire and greed.

The women and their family were declared the reason, for rings around the rosey,

and the over powering death, following.

The stench of the body of the church then rose from every rotting corpse,

as the Lord of the Flies, laid its eggs inside their eyes.

Their maggot filled stupidity worming its way among the faithful, playing its part.

And the ashes of the pyre cat remembered,

are still glowing embers within the witches heart.
