This work shows how a mother who is likened to a farmer brings up her baby in pains and struggle only for her to settle down and enjoy the better days of her sowing and her child is taken away by death.
Dedicated to God, all those who have lost a loved one and also to myself when i die.

A farmer once cultivated a seed
Though it was the season of pumpkin seed
This one could not but only frustrate the farmer
She was weak and had no fertilizer

Year after year the farmer sat on the field
hoping that one day seed will yield
In the middle of the night came power
After 29years of struggle came a dancer

The seed brought so many to feed
the harvest was right for the deed
the townsmen and street became happier
while joy still distend the heart of the farmer

soon came the mighty choker
Oh death! she makes me quaver
swept away all that was on the filed
she brought more pain than joy did

To the griever
this death destroyed a lover
leaving an indelible pain carried
She moves through wind acidified.
