She was outwardly living, internally dying.

She was a shell of a soul, the survivor of an emotional storm.

She was complete yet exquisitely deficient,

definitive yet hopelessly indecisive.

She looked to the rest of the world, but from the world came no forgiveness.

He did not belong to the rest of the world.

He was just himself, a world of his own.

He was shy yet irrevocably outgoing,

weak yet undeniably strong.

He was complicated yet infuriatingly straightforward.

He was everything she hated yet impossibly everything she loved.

He was everything and its opposite,

a perfect balance,

a body of extremes,

a mind of perfect contradictions.

He could be ordinary yet his whole existence was beyond normality.

He was so much, that next to him,

She was nothing.

She was nothing,

but he made her everything.
