Through the darkness, I descend.

Hand in hand, we will see each other again.

In the end. But this is where the story begins, but not today my dear friend for today is not the end but in fact is just the dreaded new beginning.

Our role in this life together seems to have no meaning. Spiraling downward I'm going insane, but you make this wild heart of mine tame.

Tame, yes, b ut in your eyes I see my own demise. Regardless I send my heart forth on a rise like a valiant knight. They say ignorance is bliss, I'll live in bliss if you grant me one last kiss.

The whistles and howls as I hit the ground, my thoughts of you seem but a dream as I wipe my slate clean. Now empty and restless my heart fills with dread as I look in my shattered and dirty mirror and realize that I am a living corpse amongst the dead.
